As many of you will know, we are currently running a competition to win a signed ‘Artemis Fowl & The Opal Deception’ Graphic Novel.
The competition was to submit a caption, and the three best captions will win the prize!
Well, now the time has come for voting. If you have five minutes to read the captions below, and choose your favourite three, we’d really appreciate it!
Voting closes on the 28th February, at which point the three winners will be contacted for further details.
Duplicate voting has been disabled! Additional votes per individual voter will be removed.
IMPORTANT EDIT:
We have unfortunately identified two users who are circumventing the ability to repeat votes, and are repeatedly voting for their own entries. We strive for a clean, fair competition. Once the competition has closed, we will be closely inspecting the results prior to announcing the official winners. We urge you not to try and cheat – we will detect any duplicate votes, and captions may be subject to disqualification without prior warning.

VOTING IS NOW CLOSED – WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY!

Is the statement that the winners will be announced on February 29 meant to be a joke?
Nope! Just the form system think it’s a leap-year. Fixed now. 😀
Those were HILARIOUS! It’s impossible to vote. Really.
Can anybody guess which quote was mine? ^-^
Hmm… To vote for self or to not vote for self… That is the question. Oh never mind, I won’t vote for myself.
I’ll win anyway. #ArtemisFowlEgo
But that said, may the best person win 😀 And (though I doubt it), if that person happens to be me… 🙂
One of the above captions is taken from a caption competition held on the internet and has been modified a little.
hmm… too many good captions… hmm, and i’ve just realized my caption is wrong :O
It originally said:
AF: So…
HS: This is awkward
AF: I was thinking exactly the same
idk if you could fix it please
Well, I liked my caption: I have half a mind to tell you to fix your pixie problem yourself….But I guess I am the only one. At the end of the prior book he has a memory wipe–hence the half a mind comment. I believe it is not until more than halfway through Opal Deception that he gets his memory of the people back…Oh well. There are many good captions. A cool contest.
