Regarding various developments - the movie is going ahead quickly now - I worked on a treatment for the story with Oscar winning director Jim
Sheridan and writer Simon Carmody and Jim is now working on the screenplay. The story is mainly the first book but with a few huge surprises. If
Hollywood tells you to do whatever you want... well I couldn't turn that offer down, so expect new adventures.
There's a brand new ending and lots of new one-liners, but the movie will stay fairly faithful to the book.
