Summary: Make Artemis create a time machine but something goes wrong. He tests it on himself and ends up in the real world. Our real world: no fairies, no magic, no Fowl family, no Butler, no Holly, no Lep, etc. Have him be on his own but he survives and ends up going to public school. He has to survive in High School and make friends and deal with the teachers. You can add in romance but don't make it cheesy and don't make it the center of the story.
