Llama Kidnap?

Rumour has it that Eoin Colfer was spotted at the site of 'Twycross Zoo' on the day of the kidnapping of award-winning llama Beckett. Eoin Colfer's official site have denied that the author has any involvement in the kidnapping of the llama.

I was run over by a llama once... my friend brought it for show-and-tell on the playground , but there were a bunch of stray dogs that scared it and igot squished. but i didn't geet spit on, so i was okay

Obviously it's a joke but it's creepy that there was that note. And what I wanna know is was there really a llama kidnap? Or is it just a cover story so people will believe the joke? This doesn't make any sense!
PS: On a side note I think to remember this insident, all AF fans should start calling it April Fowl`s Day not April Fool`s Day. xD

The newest information gathered from the conversation, between an Art2 and Diggitioi, leaked to the Internet clearly states that there are some misunderstandings since one of them seems to be talking about an llama and the other about an quite smaller animal. Also as "Elfin Pirate" clearly states, Koboi could easily hack into such conversations and alter, create or even leak them but she is required to be in the possession of an computer to be capable of such.
